General terms
To proceed with your reservation, it is necessary to declare that you have read and agree to the current terms and conditions for online reservations and the privacy policy of Hotel Continental.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE RESERVATIONS
CONTRACT FORMATION
The reservation is not guaranteed until payment is made.
PAYMENT METHOD
- 1. Payment via bank transfer within 3 working days prior to arrival, upon receiving the bank details via email.
The contract is considered concluded upon confirmation of the reservation by Hotel Continental and payment by the client. By making an online reservation, you confirm and accept these terms and conditions of Hotel Continental regarding reservations, deadlines, cancellations, no-shows, etc., as follows:
RESERVATION AND ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Continental is obligated to provide the services requested and paid for by the client in full, based on the information provided through the reservation form regarding the client’s name, period, number of nights, number of adults and children, regular and additional beds, and price per night.
In the reservation, children under 1.9 years old at the date of arrival are considered infants. Children between 2 and 11.9 years old at the date of arrival are considered children. Guests aged 12 and above at the time of check-in are considered adults. Information about them should be noted in the “Comments” field at the end of the reservation. The “Comments” field in the reservation form is not binding for Hotel Continental, and all client requests filled in this field will be fulfilled based on availability.
Parking is not included in the accommodation price and is paid locally at the hotel – 20.00 BGN/day. Please note that parking spaces are subject to availability and cannot be reserved. The hotel is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle on the parking premises.
Pets are not allowed on the premises of Hotel Continental and Continental Apartments.
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
The prices on the Hotel Continental website are in Bulgarian Leva (BGN), including 9% VAT. The total amount due by the client for the reservation is automatically calculated based on the number of days, adults, children, and the selected current price offer for the respective period.
Reservations made through the online reservation portal are GUARANTEED with 100% advance payment of the required deposit. Reservations are not considered guaranteed without prior 100% payment of the required deposit.
Hotel Continental reserves the right to change prices and special offers on its website. For already confirmed and paid reservations, the amount due remains unchanged, regardless of newly announced price offers.
PAYMENTS
Payments can be made via bank transfer or electronically with a debit or credit card.
Upon successful reservation, a confirmation with your reservation number will be displayed on the screen. After successful payment of the reservation amount, you will receive a confirmation number and details of your guaranteed reservation. Once the payment is received in our bank accounts, if you wish to issue an invoice to a legal entity, please contact us at reservations@hotelcontinental.bg to provide invoice details.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESERVATION CHANGES
Hotel Continental and Continental Apartments reserve the right to charge, retain, and demand from clients all amounts for penalties on canceled, modified, or prematurely terminated reservations in accordance with the announced cancellation conditions:
- 1. Reservations at Main Price – Refundable:
- Cancellations without penalty can be made up to 3 days before the check-in date, with a full refund.
- For cancellations after this period, 100% of the prepaid amount is retained as a penalty.
- In case of no-show or early departure, the total reservation amount is retained as a penalty.
In cases of force majeure requiring cancellation or modification of the reservation, relevant documents and evidence must be provided. Refunds in such cases are at the discretion of Hotel Continental and Continental Apartments.
- 2. Refunds for canceled reservations will be made via the same payment method as the initial payment.
FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party to the reservation contract is liable to the other if performance is hindered due to force majeure circumstances that could not reasonably have been foreseen and whose consequences are beyond their control (excluding payment arrangements). This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, military actions, strikes, epidemics, earthquakes, fires, floods, and government decisions. Damages caused by force majeure are borne by the party to whom they were caused. Both parties to the contract will undertake joint actions to minimize the negative consequences resulting from force majeure circumstances.
